Erinn Soltys

Erinn grew up in the central PA area, where she began studying piano at a young age. She has been playing the piano for 23 years, with 14 of those years spent in formal study, and has been fascinated by music’s ability to communicate beauty and elicit emotion like no other medium. She expects to continue to grow and learn to love the craft even more. Erinn holds a degree in Music from Elizabethtown College, where she studied piano under Dr. Justin Badgerow and accompanied the college’s Concert Choir, including their international tours. Over the years she has maintained a private piano studio, has served as both an instrumental/vocal accompanist and a substitute pianist at various churches, and has dabbled in violin, guitar, and voice.

Currently, Erinn accompanies a local church service, helps lead worship at her own church, and serves with the Cadence Singers. She looks forward to more opportunities for musical collaborations. Erinn also has a fascination with specialty coffee, nature, learning, and dad jokes; in her spare time you can find her pouring latte art, going for walks, reading/listening to podcasts, or making bad puns (including at Cadence rehearsals).

With over 25 years of playing experience, music is not only a passion of mine - it has become my way of living. With a rich and ever-expanding history of performing both in the recording studio and all along the east coast, I have covered multiple styles of music on a regional level. It is with great excitement that I now have the privilege of sharing these skills with aspiring new players of all ages eager to learn! It doesn't matter if you are just looking for a casual, fun new hobby or if you strive to one day make music your profession; my goal is to bring an inspiring and personalized learning experience to each and every student on a case-by-case basis. Rock, pop, country, funk, metal... whatever your interests are I will ensure that your learning experience is one of value and engagement. There are no cookie-cutter lesson plans or a one-size-fits-all approach to my teaching...we will work together to form lessons based on your or your loved one's personal needs and skill level!

Kristin Piarulli

I began flute in 6th grade (32 years ago!) and participated in band, jazz band, and choir. I was blessed to study on scholarship with John Curran of Brown University/RI Philharmonic. I had the privilege of playing with the Providence College Honors Band, URI Southern New England Honors Band, RI Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, RI All-State Band, as a civilian in the Governor’s Own 88th Army Band, and in various small flute ensembles. I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Music Education from Duquesne University, where I studied flute with Damian Bursill-Hall (Pittsburgh Symphony). I was able to take part in almost all of their ensembles (Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Orchestra, Concert Choir, Contemporary Ensemble) at one time or another, as well as a local flute choir while there.

I’ve played flute at various churches over the years. Beyond that, I taught elementary music in public school, as well as previously maintained a small private flute studio, and directed children’s choir and plays at various churches. I have participated in church choir, small vocal ensembles, and church handbell choir. I have also previously taught homeschooled elementary music classes. I’ve been a member of the South Hanover Township Community Band, playing flute and piccolo, since its beginning in 2021, and help with the publicity side of things and some event planning.

I work in the education field teaching life, social, and character skills at a residential school to middle schoolers. I have done this for 14 years and love what I do. This school year we will get to expand this program a bit into the arts, working with students who excel in visual and performing arts. I am excited about this endeavor!

On a personal note, I’m a mom to Katelyn and Grayson, and a wife of 19 years to my husband, Brian. I love watching my kids in their activities, love all things plants and animals, and being outdoors - the whole of creation is pretty awesome because our Creator is amazing! I love having “adventures” and love all sorts of arts and crafts. I started and maintain a painted rock group for kindness rocks, love learning about the human body, love thrift shopping/yard sales/“treasure hunting” and finding neat things to repurpose, I have fun playing the piano, and I love using any skill God gave me to be able to serve others.

She and her cousin, Kara Miller, started the Pennsylvania Gospel Music Singing School in 2024.
