THE CADENCE SINGERS

Director: Michael Welch

The Cadence Singers is our non-auditioned Adult Choir. Originally consisting of ten faithful members, the Cadence Singers strive to bring vibrant singing and ​joyful harmony to Lebanon Valley and beyond. Adults are welcome without audition. Youth ages 13 & up may audition. Simply attend as many rehearsals as possible. 

Required Materials: 

Sheet Music as the Director assigns (provided by Cadence)

1” Black 3 Ring Binder—Used to keep music and any worksheets/notes from rehearsal

Attire

Formal - Black shirt with black slacks or skirts, (or dress for ladies) black socks and shoes

Informal - Dark blue Cadence polo with khaki slacks or skirts, and close-toed shoes

Attendance: We realize everyone has a busy schedule and cannot always attend. We ask that you let us know as far in advance as possible whether or not you will be attending a rehearsal. Attend as many rehearsals as possible. You are welcome to discuss your absences with the director to determine if you should remain involved.

Performances

Late April - Singing Hymn Singing at a nearby assisted living facility. Location, date, and time TBD. 

May 4th - Concert at Fishburn UMC, 2pm call time, 3pm concert

May 10th - Performance at Harrisburg Senators Game, 6pm

VOX LUCIS

Cadence's auditioned/invitation-only adult choir focuses on more challenging repertoire and artistry.
